One-time setup

Iskwela needs a free Firebase project to sync your data across devices. Takes about 5 minutes, no credit card.

1. Go to console.firebase.google.com and create a free project.
2. Click the </> (web) icon to register a web app, then copy the firebaseConfig object it shows you.
3. In the left menu: Build → Firestore Database → Create database (production mode, any nearby region).
4. Still in Firestore, open the Rules tab, replace the contents with the rules below, then click Publish.
5. In the left menu: Build → Authentication → Get started → Sign-in method → enable Email/Password.
6. Paste your copied config into the firebaseConfig object near the top of this file's <script> tag, save, and reload this page.

Once your config is pasted in, reload — this screen won't show again.
